Scope and Contents: The materials in the collection partially document the activities of a subordinate grange in Round Grove, Illinois from 1941 to 1975.  Included are letters, journals of proceedings, by-laws, rules of order, rosters, and manuals of ritual from 1872 to 1975. With the exception of business correspondence and certificates (1941-1975) from the Round Grove Grange, the bulk of the material describes state and national grange activities.  The collection is incomplete in that most manuscript materials belonging to the Round Grove Grange were destroyed in the Grange Hall fire.  Of special interest are 2 souvenir flags for the Indianapolis 500 mile auto race for May 30, 1911.
