Brief Description: The Kage Baker Papers consist of original and edited manuscripts, copyedited/first pass page proofs, and page proofs after revision of her novels, novellas, and short stories. There are personal notes and revisions pertaining to her stories and a good amount of correspondence associated to those materials.  The collection is divided into series based upon format. Series I consists of novels; Series II includes novellas; Series III contains short stories; Series IV consists of Notes; Series V contains correspondence; and Series VI is critiqued miscellaneous.  The majority of materials are organized within their series based upon original date of publication. Dates of publication and reprinting are generally taken from the author’s webpage, http://www.kagebaker.com/.

Biographical Note for Baker, Kage : 1952-2010. Ms. Baker, the author of over 10 novels, several novellettes, and numerous short stories published in Asimov's, Amazing Stories and has been nominated for Locus Awards, the Campbell Award for Best New Writer, the Hugo Award, the Nebula Award, and the Mythopoeic Award, and has won Romantic Times Reviewer's Choice Awards and the Sturgeon Award for her work. She is currently working on a new fantasy series.
