Scope and Contents: The records of the DeKalb Rotary Club dates from 1930-1998 and consists of two series: DeKalb Rotary Club Records and Rotary International Records. Series I, DeKalb Rotary Club Records contain histories, membership directories, attendance records, group study exchange information, photographs and the clubs newsletter, The Pepper Box. The newsletter is the official bulletin of the club and includes historical and membership information and activities of the DeKalb club and other clubs in the USA and abroad. Also included in the records are several plaques, a photograph album, and a scrapbook dating 1941-1942. Series II includes publications published by The Rotary International and a audio-visual program entitled, The Most Important Man.”
The addendum includes notebooks containing rosters, bulletins, membership development and finance information, programs, board meeting minutes, brochures, and other records pertaining to the daily running of the DeKalb Rotary Club. Also included are The Pepper Box newsletter, scrapbook items and a Rotary International directory and centennial promotional kit.
