Brief Description: The Veterans of World War I Records date from 1953-1987 and document the activities of the Greater Rockford Barracks No. 48 and the Ladies Auxiliary. Each series contains constitutions and by-laws, correspondence, minutes, financial reports, membership lists, bulletins or general orders, annual convention material, and other documentation of the activities of the organizations. In many instances the minutes include a financial report and a roll call list. Contained in boxes 7, 8, and 9 are barracks cards, membership applications, and dues listing for the barracks and auxiliary.
