Brief Description: The records in the Aurora Trades and Labor Assembly (ATLA) Collection are arranged in five series and span the years from 1901 to 1984.  Series I contains constitutions, by-laws, annual reports, minutes of meetings, and a brief history of the ATLA.  There are some gaps in the meeting minutes and several meetings in the late 1970’s are on cassette tapes.  Financial records (1904-1883) comprise Series II.  Included are income and expense records, audit reports, bank accounts, and per capita dues records.  Partial documentation of ATLA affiliates is contained in Series III: officers, attendance records, and credentials.  Series IV contains correspondence (1908-1979).  Subject files (1957-1984) are in Series V.
