Foreign study and exchange programs at the university began in 1956; overall coordination and supervision of these programs came in 1969 with the creation of the International Programs Office. The records in this collection provide documentation on the office’s activities, primarily from the 1980’s on. Types of materials include: reports, proposals, correspondence, program information, brochures, and bulletins. Of particular interest are the records dealing with the Peace Corps Program in the early 1980’s and the Foreign Studies Programs.
